Luca Taverna is a pioneer in experiential education and emotional intelligence applied to youth. After earning a degree in Economics and Marketing and gaining various international experiences, he founded IEXS in 2016—the world’s first experiential school—revolutionizing the education system with an approach centered on soft skills.
The school quickly expanded from 12 to 500 students, offering flexible tuition fees and scholarships through the IEXS Foundation. He believes in inclusive and accessible education, where both students and teachers are active participants.
Creator of the Master in Teaching & Coaching, he trains future Change Makers—professionals capable of leading the next generation toward success. With the IEXS Smart City project, he envisions communities built on circular economies, with schools as the beating heart of social and economic well-being.
His mission is to transform the future of education, making it more human, innovative, and focused on nurturing talent.

He has received numerous awards, including “Student of the Year” and “Apulian of the Year 2021,” as well as accolades for his social and entrepreneurial commitment. He has met prominent figures such as President Mattarella and Pope Francis. In 2025, he fulfilled his vision by transforming Mabasta into the first social enterprise against bullying. Over the past two years, he has involved more than 52,000 students across Italy, spreading a message of inclusion and respect.
