May takes the TEDx stage to explore the transformative power of perspective—and how photography became her unexpected way of making sense of the world. Growing up surrounded by movement and change, she was always observing, always absorbing—but never quite sure how to hold onto the moments that mattered. Through photography, she discovered a new language: one that doesn’t speak in words, but in emotion, light, and stillness. This reflective and visually rich talk reveals how the act of slowing down and learning to truly see can illuminate not only the world around us, but something deeper within ourselves.
