Ready to explore the inspiring ideas from the TEDxSNHU main stage? Join us for a TEDxSNHU Virtual Salon—an opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions about TEDx talks and experiences. Our May virtual salon is focused on "Meeting Life's Challenges" and the power of mindset. Connect with our returning TEDx speaker alums Dr. Kendra Thomas and Chapreese Pennington-Willis who will share perspectives shaped by challenge, change and reflection.

Chapreese Pennington-Willis

Career Advisor
Chapreese is a proud Native New Yorker from The Bronx and has been with SNHU for five years, starting as an Admissions Counselor and now thriving as a Career Advisor. Her diverse background includes teaching high school, social work with DCYF and APSW, direct sales, and the airline industry—experiences that enrich her ability to connect with students. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, watching TV, and eating good food with her family and friends. Passionate about uplifting others, she finds joy in helping people build confidence and embrace positivity. A proud Capricorn, she brings an upbeat energy wherever she goes. One of her proudest moments was delivering a TEDx talk at SNHU, encouraging others to let go of shame and move forward.

Dr. Kendra Thomas

Higher Education Leader
Dr. Kendra Thomas is a joy practitioner, mom, and Gloria’s daughter. A military veteran and seasoned professional in higher education, she has worked at Southern New Hampshire University for over a decade, where she leads initiatives focused on employee networks, retention, and engagement.
